Mel Hughes is the founder of Jam Junction. She opened the doors in 2019 and hasn’t looked back since. Working as a furniture agent based in London, Mel has been dedicated to strengthening her client relationships as well as building a reputable brand. When she is not working, you can find her with her head in a book, listening to live music, or in a pub.

Dave Denning is the most recent team member of Jam Junction. Dave has over 25 years of experience in sales dealing specifically with office interiors. When Dave isn't working you can find him free climbing, training dolphins, synchronized swimming, or lying about his hobbies outside of work.

Purpose

​

Jam Junction is a furniture agent that is an independent business that represents a manufacturer and we do not have a direct sales team to sell our products. The use of furniture agents has predominantly been used as a business model by international brands in other parts of the world but is becoming a lot more commonplace now in the UK.

Mission

 

Our founder Mel has been in the interiors industry for the last 17 years and fell in love with the community. She decided to open Jam Junction in 2019 and become a furniture agent for European brands to increase their UK presence. 

 

At Jam Junction, we are raising the profile of these brands and taking them to the market. We do this by professional representation, and by utilizing our contacts and shared experience. The manufacturers we have aligned ourselves with share a common goal; delivering a first-class service, listening to our client's needs, and offering creative solutions.

We wanted our company name to be fun, but relevant. 'Jam' as in collaboration, 'Junction' as in a place of intersection. Jam Junction is where people can work together to create a space of inspiration and joy.
